Introduction
Aureus Academy is a leading music school in Singapore, with over 18 outlets offering tailored one-on-one music lessons for students of all ages and skill levels. Every month, over 18,000 music lessons are booked, cancelled, or rescheduled using the Aureus Academy app. This project is a revamp of the existing app, with the aim to enhance the lesson management experience for Aureus customers.
My Role
- I worked collaboratively with a team of developers as the sole UI/UX designer and was responsible for the end-to-end design for all features and functions of the revamped app.
- Created user stories, flows and finalised the scope of deliverables on the UI/UX front
- Designed and iterated on the UI over the course of a month, with multiple review sessions held with the Product Owner and Tech Lead to ensure alignment on progress
- Created a functioning prototype showcasing the app’s core features for a product demo
- Created a user survey to collect feedback from a beta testing group consisting of 25 parents
- Took charge of design QA by reporting any discrepancies between what was built versus what was designed
